Egypt post issued 2 commemorative stamps in the occasion of "POSTECH2008" event which is hold in Sharm al Shaikh. The two stamps carry the slogan of the conference, Pharoaonic characters and Sinai map, displaying the location of Sharm el Sheikh in south Sinai. The first stamp was issued in the value of 30 piaster, while the second in the value of 150 piaster.

On the other hand, Egypt post has inaugurated, through the conference, an exhibition for the Egyptian stamps, issued from the year 1850 till 1950 , with the cooperation of the Egyptian organization for stamps collection amateurs. Such exhibition came within the frame of Egypt post's program to revive the post stamp as a cultural, historical and aesthetical symbol. 

The Exhibition includes a varied and unique collection of stamps which have been issued during the aforementioned period, and which had received many of the international medals and presents.
